Creating a new task (Edit task)
To create a new task, select ALL Tasks on the left side of the Main Menu and then select New Task.
You will then be taken to the General Settings window of the 'New Task'.
Basic information about the task
Below there are links to individual sections of the above window, each of them has its own purpose and in order to configure the task well you should familiarise yourself with the basic rules of setting up a new task:
- Name of the task
- Task type
- Customer
- Section
- Task with acceptance
- Projects
- Location groups
- Skip the location check
- Do you wish to ignore user ranks?
- Preliminary task
- Conditional visibility
- Activate scales
- Price format
After filling in all fields, click 'Save'. Next, you shall be moved to the task parameters configuration window (described
here). After filling in all the fields, again click the 'Save' button.
The next step is to configure the task location. In the tab you can check in which locations the task will appear.
Then assign/exclude users to the task, assigning, excluding and assigning managers is described
here, if you need to assign a large number of users you can use
import group of users to the task.
After assigning users, click 'Save' once more and you will be transferred to the Task Generator.
