Importing clients from a file

If we need to create more clients or change some parameters for clients, it is most convenient to import them from a .csv file.

The import can be performed in the 'Clients' view by pressing the 'Import' button.

Next, download the import file template, after completing it, press 'Add'.

A .csv file will be downloaded, ready to be opened by a spreadsheet, e.g. Excel:

  • Name - Here, enter the names of Clients.
  • SystemName - Here, enter the names of the Clients under which they are to be visible in the system.
  • TaxIdentificationNumber - Here, enter the Clients' NIP numbers.
  • Address - Here, enter the addresses of the Clients;
  • Postcode - Here, enter the postcodes of the Clients.
  • City - Here, enter the city in which the customers are located;
  • Currency - In the following lines enter the currencies used by the Clients. You can choose between Polish Zloty (PLN), Euro (EUR), American Dollar (USD), British Pound (GBP) and Japanese Yen (JPY).
Erase all test values and fill in the sheet. What is important is that everything you enter will overwrite the previously existing value and empty fields will not be overwritten.
Here is an example of a completed import:

The ready to import file is saved as UTF-8 CSV file:

The prepared file can be imported into the application.
After the import is completed, we will receive a "success" message. In the case of an incorrectly filled sheet, we will automatically download the file with an explanation of what should be corrected.
Please Note: Separate the values in one column with commas, not semicolons.
