Record Audio command
The 'Record Audio' command can be used when performing other commands in a task. There are no restrictions on connecting this command with other commands.
If the user goes to the next command while performing the audio recording operation, after reaching the maximum length of the recording, they will be informed about it with the message: "The maximum length of the recording has been reached", and the recording will automatically be saved.
It is worth remembering that
the recording is not interrupted by an incoming phone call.
In order to create a 'Record Audio' command, you need to take into account the following task parameters:
- The command title can contain up to 80 characters and should tell the user to record the audio.
- Command description (up to 600 characters). Here, include information about what exact audio should be recorded and which elements should be included in the recording.
- Minimum recording duration (the material will not be saved if the recording is interrupted before this time)
- Maximum recording duration (the recording will end when the maximum time is reached and will be saved automatically)
- Graphical hint for the command. To make the description of the command more clearer for the user, it can be supplemented with graphics. To ensure the smooth uploading of photos, it is worth remembering that the uploaded photos should have the same resolution and their size should not exceed 100KB.
When completing the parameters of the 'Record Audio' command, additional, optional parameters are available in the "Advanced settings" tab:
- Optional command - The user will be able to finish the task without completing this command.
- Additional comment field - The user will be able to write additional comment to the recording.
View in the mobile app:
- Record Audio command - General view with the possibility of adding additional comments/notes to the recording.
- Record Audio command - When you try to record audio again, the pop-up message informs that the previously recording will be deleted.
- Record Audio command - After reaching the maximum limit of time, the recording is not deleted, but is saved up until the maximum recording time. The user is informed of this by a pop-up message.
