Mapping values from location features / Dynamic values from location features
The mapping values allow to display different text from the values of location features in the text field. The mapping values can only be used in titles and in the following commands:
- Open Question
- Yes/No
- Add Price
- Number
- Counting Question
- Take Photo
- Multiple Selection
- Single Selection
- Evaluation
- Record Audio
- Read Text
- Date
- Signature
- External link
In order to use this functionality, you need to follow these steps:
- Activate the functionality in the application settings by enabling the 'UseLocationVariableInCmds' parameter.
- Import features to the location in location groups.
- Create a task with a group of locations and locations where location features are available.
- Use the tag {{location_value_XXX}} where XXX corresponds to the exact column name from the locations imported to the location characteristics, {{location_value_Shop Type}}.
It is important to enter the exact column name string (with spaces and all characters) instead of XXX. The location feature must have a unique column name for the whole application, so each tag {{location_value_XXX}} will be unique. The tag can be used many times in a command, in one or several tasks.
Please Note: Dynamic values are not included in the basic report of completed tasks. However, they are displayed in 'Task Verification'.
