E-learning/Training

Please Note: Training is hidden in the application up to version 1.55. TakeTask is working on rebuilding the command in order to achieve stability on many devices. Unfortunately there is no alternative way to use this feature until version 1.55 is released. 

The 'E-learning' tab is located in the web panel. Within 'E-learning', users can display, manage, edit and create new trainings depending on their privileges.
After clicking the 'E-learning' tab, a small drop-down menu appears.

New Training

The 'New Training' section allows for the creation of a training from scratch. Choosing this option from the drop-down menu, the user moves to the window in which they give the name of the training and select the client to whom will be assigned and for whom will be visible. After pressing the "save" button, the name and client of the training are saved and the user is transferred to the Training Generator.

The Training Generator is operated in a similar way to the Task Generator (instructions here), the only exception being that there are only three commands in the Training Generator.

Watch Video

This feature allows the user to include training materials in the form of a video file or a link to a website containing a video file, for example, YouTube. The user can post up to two video files and one link to a web page. You may also add a photo as an additional file to support the training.

This function allows the user to enter instructions for the trainee in text form, as well as to add a photo as an additional file to support the training.

Knowledge Test

This allows the user to create a Knowledge Test that includes both single and multiple choice questions with up to five answers.

1 - Enter the number of questions to be included in the test
2 - Button for adding a new question
3 - Button moving to the 'edit question' window
4 - Button to delete the question

Editing and Creating a question

After clicking on the button marked 3 in the picture above, the user is moved to the 'edit question' window. The appearance of this window is presented below.

1 - A window in which you enter one of the answers, you can give a maximum of five answers for one question
2 - If you tick the checkbox next to the answer, this answer will be treated as the correct one in the test

Training List

The 'Training List' subsection allows you to display a list of actively existing trainings, as well as to manage and edit them.

It allows you to choose how many training courses you wish to display on one page of the web panel. The default setting is 10, however, 20, 50, & 100 are also available to be set. 


This is the button which allows you to add a new training, moves the user to the Training Generator.


This is the button which allows you to download the training screen to a .xlsx file.


This is the button, which after clicking, a list of available options for editing the training is displayed.


This is the button which allows you to group trainings according to your preferences.

After hovering the cursor over the selected training, the 'Edit' button appears, after which the user is moved to the Training Generator.
Assigning a training to a task

After creating the training, it is possible to assign it to a specific task.

To assign a training to a task, you must first enter the project and then the Task Generator. After entering the Task Generator, begin editing the 'Start' command.

Next, at the bottom of the 'Start' command is the 'Training Selection' window. Click on the sprocket icon to display a list of available trainings. After ticking the checkbox, the training is assigned to the project.

If a task has been assigned a training, the condition to start the task is to pass this training. After entering the task, the user is automatically transferred to the training. After completing the training, the user can start performing the task.
